The heart of the nursery is a block of six large traditional wooden glasshouses, clearly visible from the adjacent A381. Shrubs, trees, fruit bushes, conifers, herbs, heathers, alpines and herbaceous plants are presented for sale in and around a pergola-style outdoor planteria. We are specialists in 'Instant Gardens' for second homeowners, hotels, pubs and restaurants, anyone who enjoys the beauty of flowers with no hassle.
At Yarde Gate Nursery you can visit our famous geranium house, where we have over one hundred varieties of traditional, regal, scented, trailing, fancy leaf and variegated geraniums. Our selection of hardy, bush and trailing fuchsias is almost as numerous. Other specialities
include the ever-popular Torbay palms, and stunning giant Echiums.
We also stock many unusual items not frequently seen elsewhere.

baskets, patio tubs, troughs and planters; also plenty of young
plants for do-it-yourself schemes. In fact, our range of stock is
so vast only a visit will show you the extent of our competitively
priced home grown plants. We grow all the traditional favourites,
but also have a range of more unusual items.
